Although I spend most of my time as a wedding photographer here in Cornwall, one of my other photography passions is fashion photography. I have worked in and had my own studio ever since I started in photography.
I have worked with Sarah a couple of times in the past and have always been impressed with just how photogenic she is. You wouldn’t believe that she’s a mother of four that only does a little bit of modelling in her spare time because she enjoys it.
If you would like to know more about a studio shoot why not get hold of us, or pop round to the studio for a chat. You don’t have to be a model to look great in photos. I love helping people to look their best in front of the camera.
So I took Joe, the studio manager here at Ben Photography, along with me on my latest wedding photo shoot for Wed Magazine. I think that any ideas that he might of had that location photo shoots where glamours affairs have been well and truly removed from his thinking. Yes, those are clips holding the wedding dress on our model. It normally ends up being a lot of sitting around waiting for something to happen, followed by an intense few minutes of activity.
The wedding photo shoot ended up being loads of fun, and even though the weather didn’t want clear up for us until the last half hour, always seems to be the way, we ended up getting some really beautiful photos for next issue of Wed Magazine.
We started of in the morning on the beach just below the beautiful Rosevine Hotel, where we did a mock wedding ceremony. We where very lucky to be able to talk the owner of the VW Campervan we where using, into being our groom for the photo shoot. He was a great sport, but I think he’ll have some explaining to do to his wife when the magazine comes out. We then moved up to the Hotel itself, which has some beautiful rooms that we where able to use for photographs. The sun finally came out just in time for us to use the gardens at the Rosevine for our drinks table shots.
Unfortunately I’m not allowed to show you guys any of the photos from the wedding photo shoot until Wed Magazine has published them, so there is only the one behind the scene shot for now. I’ll be sure to add a post once the magazine is out to show you guys some of the shots.
One of the great things about working on a shoot like this is that you get to work with a lot of talented people. Not to mention getting a chance to sample some of the brilliant food on offer at the Rosevine Hotel. Here are the people that made this shoot possible.
